The Department of Geosciences at The Pennsylvania State University seeks an instructor for a one-year appointment beginning August 1, 2017. The successful applicant will be expected to teach two courses per semester, including: a core course for undergraduates, Chemical Processes in Geology; a general education course, Environment Earth; and upper division courses in Hydrogeology and Geology of Oil and Gas. Candidates who can teach three of these courses will also be considered. The Department of Geosciences is part of the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, and houses research programs spanning a broad spectrum of Earth Science disciplines (further information is available at: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in geosciences or a related field at the time of appointment.
