 - Paleobotany; paleoecology; evolution, diversification, and extinction of flowering plants and plant-insect interactions; use of fossils as paleoclimate indicators; stratigraphy of continental sequences. Major field projects in Western Interior U.S. and Patagonia, Argentina.
