Approximately 5 km from the peak of the dome (due North of the peak
and the coring drill site), this site is on stable ice between ice
stream C, ice stream D, and the Ross Ice Shelf. There is 1050 m of
ice beneath the station.

This site is south and west of the Executive Committee Range of
Marie Byrd Land. It is within sight of Mt. Sidley and Mt. xx
(though they are about a 100 km away). It is on approximately
1500 m of ice.

This site is about 25 km from the old CASERTZ/CWA camp of 1994-96.
It is on 1800 m of ice. The ice is flowing slowly but the onset of
ice stream C is within 20 km of this site.

- Ice Stream DE
This site is on the ridge of slow-moving ice between fast-moving ice
streams D and E. There are open crevasses approx 15 km to the south
that are probably the beginnings of the D shear margin. The site is
on the southern slope of a hill that rises to a ridge (the
Ridge DE?) 3-4 km away. This site is on xx m of ice.

This site is a few hundred meters off the old skiway at Byrd Surface
camp (between the skiway and Old Byrd). There is 2160 m of ice
beneath this site.

This site is about 70 km from Mt. Moore. At this time, it is the at
the end of the line in terms of logistics. It is on the far side of
the WAIS divide and appears to be more influenced by
Amundsen/Bellingshausen Sea weather than by Ross Sea/Siple Coast
systems. It appears to be cloudy a lot.
