Richard Alley Elected to National Academy of Sciences

Our very own Richard Alley has been elected Member of the National Academy of Sciences! Richard has made major impacts in various aspects of glaciology, both the behavior of ice sheets and their climate record. He plays a vital role in education all the way from K-12 to the US Senate. He appears in every media outlet with frequency. This tremendous honor caps a long list of awards and recognitions for Richard. It is hugely significant to him, the Department and the College.
