Alexander Thames

Alex Thames is an interdisciplinary Earth scientist with foci ranging from the influence of climate on agricultural water resource planning to the evolution of Earth's thermal history as a function of its deep water cycle. He is most interested in investigating uncertainty in the Earth Sciences, specifically through large scale exploratory modeling as this can both (1) provide insights into poorly constrained physical processes and (2) provide decision-support for future projections of complex natural-human systems.
